Integrated Governance of the WEFE Nexus in Jordan: A Path Towards a Sustainable Development. The paper will outline the Integrated Governance of the WEFE Nexus in Jordan, As the Kingdom is witnessing an increasing demand for water, energy, and food, driven factors such as population growth, migration, economic growth, climate change, urban expansion, and changing consumption patterns, significant pressure is placed on Jordan's already very limited resources. Achieving water security, food security, and energy security is fundamental to sustainable development and is linked to various national issues, socially, economically, and politically. The paper will address the critical need for integrated governance of the WEFE Nexus Therefore, Recognizing the challenges facing the energy, water, food, and environment sectors this approach aims to develop coordinated response that align with the national visions. The paper will explore the situation before the establishment of the coordinated framework for governing the WEFE Nexus, as the most important factors for change required to strengthen the nexus between these sectors. Furthermore, the paper will highlight the proposed governance approach to truly and sustainably strengthen the nexus between the water, energy, food, and environment sectors. The approach emphasizes enhanced cooperation and coordination among different sectors. Finally the paper will detail the initial steps untaken to implement the WEFE Nexus approach in Jordan, including the establishment of inter-ministerial committees, the initiation of regular meetings between relevant ministries, and the launch of the WEFE Nexus Hub.
